Do you remember when these damn things came out and all of a sudden they were sold out. Well this mom sat outside a Toys R Us (RIP) all night to get one for her. I got there at 9:00 pm and say in 38 degree rain all night to get one of these. I had to go to work so I slept for like 30 minutes and then worked an 8 hour shift. The things you do for your kids.
Every year we get a Christmas Tree and watch National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. I know it isn’t a huge deal but to my daughter it means the world. These are the things when she gets older she will share with her children.
I took my daughter to see Beauty and The Beast ballet in the big city. (Atlanta) This was her first time ever at the ballet and my first time going in years. I got the tickets last minute and they were $50 for both in decent seats. I got off work at 4 and the show started at 6:30. We live an hour or more from Atlanta depending on traffic. I rush him change clothes and then rush through Atlanta traffic. We get there early and it was the smartest decision we ever made. I loved watching her eyes widen as the dancers went across the stage. She thoroughly enjoyed it and I enjoyed watching it through her eyes.
I am not allowed to have a lot of caffeine because of manic episodes. I love caffeine I think I dedicated an entire post to coffee. On our trip to Tennessee I bargained my way two having 2!!! The caffeine isn’t work but the coffee was really good.
My medicine is self explanatory. It keeps getting updated though because of my sleep so as you notice the pills have changed and this is in a couple of months. I have an entire post dedicated to this coming soon. My new and old meds.
My daughter is 11 and she loves to dress up but there are two things I’ve been very firm about no black nail polish and no heels. Well we were at Old Navy and she was trying to find a dress to wear for Easter Sunday when she saw these shoes. They were 40% off and even though she knew how firm I was on heels but managed to talk me into them because they were boots not just heels. I gave in and let her have them. I am still firm on the nail polish.
Sometimes it be like that when I’m not here as much as I should be and I shouldn’t do anymore of these damn challenges because it pisses me off. I have a bunch of catch up blogs I’m working on just bear with me. I’ll be back in action.
This doesn’t take many words I’ve expressed so many times how much this man means to me and if you didn’t know he is the greatest person in the world and every reason I’m alive. I think this is one who haven’t seen yet.
Yep. I am combining these as much as possible.
We went to Chattanooga recently (I promise that there will be a post about it soon!!) and while we were there I took way too many pictures as always, but I can’t get enough of this view. It is beautiful. We were at Ruby Falls on top of the tower. You get a good view of the mountains, Tennessee River and downtown Chattanooga. It is so peaceful like ocean waves it can clear your head and think better places like this even if I am terrified of heights.
I saw this challenge going around Instagram and had to join in. It is the don’t suffer in silence challenge. Join in and help end the stigma on mental health. We shouldn’t suffer in silence anymore!!!
